January Update

Happy New Year everyone...I would wish you all a Merry Christmas too, but its almost a month late.

The last few months have been exceptionally busy, as they usually are around Christmas. So lets give a bit of an update.

Out reach at one of the largest schools in Sri Racha.  We were told it would just be a few students; it was the whole student body (about 500)

VABC: As of January 9th we have started our 2nd Semester.  Between semesters we had one week of Ministry and outreaches... we went to schools and communities and put on a Christmas program.  We had Christmas parties and we sang Christmas Carols at government offices.  It was busy, and we were able to share the meaning of Christmas with around 1500 people.  After the week of ministry the students were given two weeks off for Christmas and new years, several traveled to Myanmar to visit the families of our Burmese students, and while there they also had the opportunity to preach in churches and help with Christmas outreaches, praying for the sick, feeding the poor, and other events.

Outreach at a local High School
We are now wrapping up or first course of the second semester and then many of the students will be traveling to Malaysia for the PlanetShakers conference.  When they return we are having two weeks of ministry/work, where we will spend sometime catching up on construction projects that have been put aside and spending a week with my friend Pastor Greg doing street evangelism.

EEC:  Not much is new here...we had a great Christmas party this year, and Kids day last weekend was a blast...we were one of the few booths that stayed open the whole day.  We are looking forward to this area of the ministry growing this year.

PERSONAL:  Hannah and I are working on our wedding plans, as of this writing, there is just over 3 months left until the day...and while we don't really have a whole lot to plan it is still a bit overwhelming to think about.  We are trying to get our marriage license completed this week (to help with her obtaining a visa for Canada) as well as hoping to find the perfect dress and book our venue.  Some days it seems like we have lots of time to get things done and then other days it seems like we have no time what-so-ever.

And finally our Leaders, Pastor Al and Terry have just left for a 3 month sabbatical, we will miss them.
